They are beautifully soft for shading and blending and, can be applied to a wide range of textured papers and card. Smudge and blend with a finger or paper stumps. The side of the pastel can be used to paint large areas and the tip of the pastel to create fine lines. Kneadable erasers can be moulded to lift off dust from pastel drawings to create highlights.
