Description
A typical feature of acrylic paints is their very short drying time. Thin layers of paint can be dried in just five minutes and even thicker applications usually dry completely overnight. If this behavior is to be changed, so-called drying delays are used. The LUKAS drying retarder in liquid form slows down the drying time of acrylic paints. It increases the “open time” of the paint and thus allows longer “wet-on-wet” painting. The more drying delay is used, the more transparent the colours become. The drying retarder is mixed with the acrylic paint and dries waterproof.
